Hello loyal Hemlock skiers, boarders and tubers (and those who just come for the Après)
The 09~10 season is just around the corner and we’ve already started practicing our snow dances and plans are in the works for the annual Ullr celebration. We have been busy over the summer painting, grooming, rebuilding the terrain park and the new chairs for the Whistle Punk chair should be here any day.
As environment Canada is predicting an El Nino winter we are very excited. The last season that we experienced an El Nino weather influence (98~99) resulted in a record snow fall with a total accumulation of over 15 metres. With the coming Olympics that is great news. Keep an eye out and you just might spot visiting Olympic Athletes using Hemlock as a pre-Olympic training venue…
We will be open Thursday to Monday most weeks and 7 day a week operation during the holiday season, the Olympics and Spring Break for a total of 89 operational days. We are looking forward to a great season and have already started the hiring process. Having had a great team last year, we are proud to have many of our excellent local and international staff returning for another outstanding season. For those who don’t have their own equipment yet or would like to try the sport before committing to purchasing new, we are now also offering seasons passes for rentals. For less than the cost of renting 6 times you can get a rental pass that entitles the purchaser to unlimited rentals throughout the year.

We know that you would prefer to be outside enjoying yourself instead of standing in a line up so we now have online rental reservations. This free service will ensure that your rental equipment is setup for you and ready to go so you can get out to enjoy all that beautiful snow.
